2011 MLB World Series
No Instant Replay

Why doesn’t major league baseball use instant replay? The blown call during game 3 of the 2011 world series tonight was pathetic! Texas clearly has tagged the runner out by a mile and yet the umpire called him safe at first base. The rangers argued the call but to no avail. Still, here we are in and the MBL still doesn’t use instant replay! I don’t get it.By their tradition and stubborness they are saying they don’t care about getting the call right and making sure the fans get what they deserve, which is a fairly called baseball game!

How difficult can this be, especially in the 2011 world series! It’s a big stage, the most at stake, make sure you get the calls right. If you aren’t sure, well that’s what cameras are for aren’t they? Why does baseball keep fighting technology? Please just embrace it already. It doesn’t matter the outcome of game 3 of the world series, instant replay should be embraced and implemented by major league baseball at least in the post season. You can give each team options to challenge plays, or review things upstairs like other professional sports.

This was a turning point in the game, and even though cardinal fans won’t raise a fuss about it, the point needs to be made that instant replay can change the outcome of bad calls in baseball. If they want to keep guessing at calls and getting some right and some wrong so what, but it’s and instant replay can help!
