I rented from them years ago and had to pay to get out of my lease even though it was because parts of my roof kept falling in from leaks. They never would fix it.
Years later I dated an employee of the company. They talked bad about mexicans, blacks, and Muslims. Their hr posts anti Muslim posts, they say blacks need to.get on a boat and go home. They slandered my name by saying I did things and said things I didn't do (remember I do not even work there).
When I hear of ask this going on I ask to speak to the general manager, he was there as an employee informed me but then they brought out another person and said he wasn't there. I then asked to set up a meeting and they said he would call, of course he didn't. I called cooperate and was told I was being high schoolish and that the owner would not speak to me. I was told I had to go through the hr person (the one posting discriminate things) even though the complaint was about her.
These problems persisted even after my gf was no longer with the company. Oak ridge properties and elliot lodging (one in the same) is absolute ridiculous.
Just wanting to get the heads up out there.
