They send an official looking envelope that says "Open Immediately" with "2016" printed in large font in the lower right hand corner (to look like a government document), then they provide a form to be filled out for fictitious name renewal which contains all your actual information (derived as part of the public record), similar to the form you get freely online at Florida.gov. They than ask for $125.00 to 'file' your paperwork which, incidentally, is more than double the state's fee. They want you to respond as soon as possible. It's a complete scam.
