Returns Policy at Walmart

To whom it my concern,

I would like to know what the returns procedure is when returning products, and how a product that is supposed to be locked up can get swapped for a different product that is used. I just purchased a Nintendo DSi at my local Walmart store, and this is exactly what happened. The sales associates refused to give me the correct product which I had purchased and had a receipt, and asked me to leave the store after accusing me of theft and calling me a liar. If this the type of customer service I should expect when shopping at Walmart stores, I will shop elsewhere in the future as I do not agree that anyone should be accused of theft without evidence as it infringes on the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in Canada as well as the Sale of Goods Act.

I have never attempted to return anything at Walmart before in my life, until today, nor will I ever try to again, or go in that store again after how I was unjustly treated. Furthermore, it was my understanding that a person must have evidence against them to be accused of theft. Is accusations such as this common practice at Walmart Canada?

Please advise. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
