Dear sir/madam,
I recently sent a manuscript, the original cover design; at the request of Mr Salviani, along with a disk and cheque for £1,350 to Mr Adam Salviani, of Raider Publishing. I have not heard back from them since they sent me the following conformation, this was on the 19th of August.
-‘Thank you for officially signing on with us as one of our
authors. We received your mail earlier today and now that we have
everything we need to proceed, I will make sure that work begins on your
book as soon as possible.
Please feel free to contact your new personal assistant, Ms.
Kaitlin Flaherty ([email protected]) with any questions,
comments or concerns that you might have from this point forward.’-
However after sending emails to Raider Publishing requesting information on my manuscript, they have not answered any. It would appear they either have no intention of answering my emails and are quite happy to keep my cheque, or they are on holiday somewhere and have not had a chance to read any emails.
I also had a telephone conversation with Mr Salviani, who phoned me in England; as I requested vie email too speak to him, he reassured me my manuscript would be safe with Raider. However,
I do not earn a lot of money and it took me almost a year to save the money I sent to Raider. So it seems I have now lost my money, the manuscript and the original cover design.
