I called the USPS office to check on delivery expected early in the day. I was placed on hold after answering "yes" to the following questions when asked by the postal cleark who answered the phone: "did you request it to be delivered?" I was on hold for about 15-20 minutes. I hung up & called back & the phone was picked up and hung up in my ear! This was done on the 3 times I tried to call back.
I have informed the usps complaint office about this and was told somone would call me back in 2 days. I asked if I should try calling back about my pkg and they said yes. I called back the Post Office about 2 hrs later and a lady answered & I told her "I was calling to confirm delivery on a pkg" She placed me on hold again..., I called back & the phone rang until it went to a loud tone and disconnected the call. I tried calling again and the phone has now been busy for the last 5 minutes. I tried again at 2:53 and it just rang until it went into the beep. At this point, there is nothing else I can do. I decided to call back at 3:05 and finally a woman answered. Told her i have been calling all day to see if a package was going to be delivered this am. She placed me on hold. She said my package was not sent out yet and said it will be sent out. I asked if that will be today. She said "yes, it will be today." So i'll wait to see if i get it.
