I purshased a Kodak all in one printer a few months ago based on their commercials about the cheaper ink cartridges and great print quality. BIG MISTAKE! Yes the print cartridge is cheaper but unless you are going to print dozens of pictures at one time be aware that if the opened cartridge stays in your machine more than a couple of weeks the ink evaporites and drys out. Also when you open and intall the ink the meter showing the remaining ink level immediately drops about 1/4 even if you only print a single b/w coupon. Once the meter reaches empty the printer will no longer print although there is still ink in the cartridge. You must install a new cartridge thereby wasting the unused ink. Many times when you restart the computer the printer will no longer distribute black ink, in order to fix the problem you have to go to the company site and load a long drawn out trouble shooting program and follow the steps to get it printing again. Lastly the program now tells me I must replace my printheads (another expense) because although I have cleaned, never dropped, damaged, or abused the print heads after owning this printer 7 months and printing maybe 50 pages " the printheads must be replaced. Also in those 8 mo. I have bought 5 sets of coor and black ink. So those 50 pages of letters/coupons/and maybe 6 photos have cost me 130.00 in ink alone. Now I am supposed to but another set of print heads. I don't think so! Please give me back my "expensive ink". I am going broke "saving money"
