Timescapes Telemarketing - Calypso Cay - Ameri Suites
Family vacation from h

I got a phone call in June, and it was for a trip to Orlando Fl. For 4 nights. Then 2 days in Daytona, 2 days in Ft. Lauderdale and ending with a cruise to the Bahamas all for $489.00 and all we had to do is go on a "90" minute timeshare tour. Tom the person we were talking to sure made it sound real good. So of cours we fell for it and gave him the credit card info.

My husband told Tom that we had a family of 5 and that a standard room wasn't big enough. So he insured us that we would stay in a 2 bedrrom villa at Calypso Cay Resort. Mind you, we were already traveling to Orlando for our yearly family vacation in July, so we asked if we could use this package as part of our vacation. He said Yes. So we went ahead and started with the reservations.

We get to our first stop of this "great vacation" Calypso Cay. We go to check in and they don't even have a reservation for us. My husband talks to the Manager and she works out something and we get to stay in there hotel not there 2 bedroom villa. Mind you we have 5 people, 3 kids and 2 adults. We had a suite that had 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa. No kitchen and only 1 bathroom. Wow we did have a microwave and a little fridge. We made the best of that. We go to there "90" minute timeshare tour and my husband let those people have it. We were there for 2 hours.

While there, my husband looked into the rest of the "great vacation" and found out that while in Daytona and Ft. Lauderdale we would have to buy an extra room because they only had standard hotel rooms and all 5 of us couldn't stay in one room. Then he went on to ask them about the Bahamas trip. Come to find out Tom forgot to mention that we would have to pay port taxes and fees which came out to be about 700.00, and we would have to pay this fee before we even got on the boat and when we got there we would have to pay an upgrade fee to stay in a 2 bedroom villa. Now the "great vacation" for $489 was costing us about 2 thousand dollars not to mention the money we would have to pay for food and anything else we wanted.

We tried to talk back with Tom and he acted like we never spoke to him. Now we are stuck with the rest of the package because we used part of it in Orlando. So I am here to just warn people about this scam and how it's going to cost you a whole lot more then what they tell you.

If there is anyone out there who could help us try to get our money back please write me back.
