Ray runs from paying child support all the time. Ray owes over $30,000 in back support. Ray has no contact with his daughter and does not care to. Ray has paid maybe $1000 over the 16 yrs she has been alive and he has not paid in the past 2 years.
Ray's daughter is a beautiful 16 year old girl that has grown to be a very smart and caring young lady. She has no interest in being his "daughter" but she feels that he should be reminded every time he looks at his paycheck that he has a daughter.
The issue is not money here it is principle, you father a child you are commited for life. Child support money is a help for the family raising the "abandoned" child but the father should be responsible for sharing the costs of raising his child.
