This man was married to me and begged me to have his child. After our child was born he got into drugs and was very abusive.
I left and took our child with me. My daughter is 14 now and she has not seen him since she was 1 1/2.
I have tried the attorney general but because I live in Texas and he lives in Indiana it is very difficult.
He was only ordered to pay $41- a week. Which is not much at all.
I have contacted him and tried to keep him informed of our daughters life. He will talk to her once every few years. He will promise gifts and to send her money and promises her he wants to move here to be by her. He even tells me he loves me.
He needs to take care of his responsibility as I have. I did not bring her into this world by myself. He should care for her.
He should provide financially as her needs are getting greater and I cannot do it all myself. If he was still in the picture before the craziness he got himself into, she would never have to go without anything.
My daughter is very intelligent and deserves the better colleges and schooling and he should have to help.
His lies are making her not trust anyone. His absence hurts her greatly.
