I too am a victim of the now infamous Bill Bartman in Mounds, Oklahoma! Two years ago this month I purchased a Weimeraner puppy from him. I too had the discussion about AKC registration, and he assured me that all of his dogs were registered with the AKC.
I paid 500 dollars for a "show quality" dog, whom ironically can't be shown because of no papers with the AKC. I tried contacting him, his wife, and everyone else that all of the people on this site tried as well with no results! I was even hung up on several times! From what I have read here about sick puppies, At least I was lucky enough to have a Beautiful, healthy dog! Aside from that, this crap has to stop! I mean, shame on me for being scammed, but he should be arrested, and forced to give a refund to everyone who has purchased a dog from him, not only because of the false AKC registration claims, but the selling of sick, diseased animals!
I think that the veterinarian he takes his animals to may be pocketing money in this scam too, because her signature is on all of the well check papers he sends, even with a sick puppy! I hope someone launches an investigation into this, and that a lawsuit is filed! Someone please contact me as soon as possible!
