My late mom paid $495 and $195 respectively to sell 2 timeshare. 1 is 3 prime weeks at The Towers of Mullet Bay in Ste. Maarten, and 1 prime week at The Bonaventure in Ft. Lauderdale, FLA.
In 13 years we have not had 1 offer! Not even an inquiry.
When I spoke with their manager, she indicated that they still have these in their register and they are available to the customers who respond to their advertising. I replied that 13 years is a bit long to wait - and her response was that we were informed of this. That they never promised to sell. Wrong! They did, and once they were paid it turned into general advertising instead. What a scam. My mom was in her 80's when she did this, and I did not find out until later.
People should be forewarned. Stay in hotels and AVOID the timeshares.
