My family had taken a trip from Michigan to Florida and my daughter had asked to stop at several Barnes and Noble stores. We picked up four books and where jumping on the high way to head home when she noticed that one of the books had three chapters that where half way cut off. Of course that was the last book of its kind, (small paper back). There was a larger copy for a few dollars more not a huge deal but I asked if they would do a even swap since we had to go through the trouble because they sold us a defected copy. They treated me as if I was the scum of the earth. I asked for the manager and when she came over, she stood in front of me and talk like I wasn't standing there. She wouldn't address me, so finally I just asked them for my money back. They where the rudest people I encountered at a Barnes and Noble store.
