I purchased a Chamberlain garage door opener at the Centerville, UT Home Depot. The opener had two significant problems. I had to modify it to make it work. I went to the Home Depot website and wrote a negative product review that explained the problems and the poor response from Chamberlain's customer service. The review wasn't hostile, threatening or vulgar. Home Depot rejected the review. They refused to post it on their website. I called their customer service to complain about them refusing to post a negative review. They would do nothing. Several months later I tried again to post a negative review. Again it was rejected. Apparently their corporate policy is only to post positive reviews of the products they sell. The bottom line is that you should never purchase a product from Home Depot based upon the reviews you read on their website. They refuse to post negative reviews, therefore intentionally distorting the suitability of their products.
