I purchased two e machine laptops from best buy on the 2nd of september. On the 7th of the same month, I returned the item because it was defective.
When i returned the item, the technition at best buy said that he knew what was wrong and that they had just got a bad batch. It was replaced.
On the 19th of september, i noticed a crack in the hinge where it opens. I returned to best buy and told the technition that there was a crack in the hinge and he told me that it was a stress crack. I was able to get another but this time they were $150.00 less than when I purchased them.
I asked for the price difference and was told that it wasn't within the 14 day return policy. I thought that when you return a defected item, your original purchase date changes.
