My membership is out of Tulsa and my salesman was Sean.
I had the exact same horrible experiences as the other members of the singles station. So, no need to repeat the same thing as them. Looking on the BBB web site they have seven complaints filed against them.
I will say that I think their price is based off off how much you tell them that you have in savings. One of those many personal questions they ask. They initially offered me a membership for 'only' around $5700! Sorry, I don't remember the exact price. I too ended up paying WAY less then this, 'tonight's special', but still not worth a dime! I have had only three matches in the couple of years that I have been a member!
I think Jonathan is so eager to find out who wrote these reports so that he can cancel their membership. As it states in the contract "Singles Station reserves the right to cancel this contract without refund if: (B) you divulge, to anyone, terms of this Contract, including membership fees"
In fact, almost the entire contract is about payment to them and releasing them of any responsibility for the matches it provides!"you understand and agree to hold Charlee Enterprises, Inc. Dba The Singles Station harmless, waiving all rights and causes of action for any damages or disappointment that you may incur should false and misleading statements be made and relied upon in the matchmaking process."
They say that they will "try" to provide a match within a 3-4 week period. "SS guarantees you the number of introductions according to your membership contract. However, SS does not guarantee that you will receive these introductions in any specific time period." Meaning, there is no time limit as to when they have to provide a match. I even asked and verified that it could be 80 years from now before I get a match and that is within the guide lines of the contract.
I too am told by Melanie that my match criteria is TOO narrow. When I call they blame me for not being 'positive' and even often hang up on me! When I try to talk to or set up a meeting with Mike Carol, the current owner, I was told that "he doesn't talk to members." Not exactly something to be positive about is it?
