Charlie is the biggest fraud/liar I have ever encountered in the construction (or any other for that matter) industry. They have 0 employees in the field. They subcontract their work to the first person that answers their Craigslist ad. Either the person does "decent" work but Charlie can't pay them what he owes, so he strings them along until they give up and quit, or they do terrible work and Charlie squeezes as much as he can out of them, then refuses to pay because of quality. He also can not pay his own office staff most of the time. Most Wal-Mart GC's have been burned by C&L's Legacy and refuse to work with them any longer, but there are still a few that he has not worked with that will get burned just like the rest. My advice to anyone who is is looking to either work for C&L or contract with C&L... DONT!!! YOu will absolutely never see the money you are owed by Charles Christopher or C&L's Legacy. GC's beware of this company! You will get burned, even if you hire them to replace 1 tile of VCT. You are better off hiring ANYONE other than C&L's Legacy.
