We had GDS (garage door service) come out to fix 1 of our broken springs. The service guy told us whoever installed the door used wrong size springs. Funny since it was straight from the manufacture. GDS installed the "right" size springs which have a life time warranty. After 2 years parts break off causing door not to work, we have a company come see what is wrong and find out GDS put the WRONG size springs on which caused the door to be too hard to lift causing damage. New springs get installed by new company and what do ya know... same size that were up originally!! We got screwed by them and now when I tried to get something done, they became rude and told me the springs did not break so nothing they can do. Now I am stuck with 2 springs that wont work on my garage and out almost $400.00 dollars. They ripped off an elderly lady who is on a fixed income and disabled.
