Premier Technologies is a computer services company located in India. They claim the ability to boost personal computer performance by remotely installing software.
Avangate is a company that collects payments for Premier.
I ordered software from Premier, for $399.99 and made my payment through PayPal to Avangate.
Premier's product didn't work.in fact, it hurt the performance of my computer worsened. After many hours trying to resolve the problems that Premier had caused, I cancelled their service and demanded a complete refund. Premier said they would remit the funds to me.
I have never received my refund, although Premier claims to have "initiated" payment over three weeks ago. Premier would not tell me where the refund they claimed to have paid was sent.
I registered a complaint with PayPal against Avangate, and it was turned down. I have asked why I was rejected, and am awaiting an explanation.
This whole experience smells bad to me, and I encourage all people who want to deal with either Premier or Avangate to think twice before doing so.
