From one of the first Apple ][ s to our latest MacBook Pro, Apple products have performed nearly flawlessly for our family to the point that if Apple offers a product (hardware or software) in a product space we need a good reason not to purchase it rather than a competitor's. On the rare occasions we have had any difficulties, online and phone support have been able to help. Only once did we have to take a Mac mini to the local Apple Store for a failed hard drive replacement, which as it turned out was replaced while we dined (we had been told to expect 1-2 day turnaround)! No need for a return trip! Apple products are commonly regarded as higher priced but when product quality, value, ease of use and service is considered our family has found Apple both hardware and software products to be the best bargain around!
