I recently got scammed by an Italian guy named Ciro, dressed real professional. who claimed he was going to the airport to leave to Italy on that very night. He came back from a mall expo and had some left over jackets but did not want to pay taxes. He showed me it was "real" leather by holding next to a lighter he had on him (how convenient). He gave me his phone number and said if I ever wanted to visit Italy, just to call him and he would hook me up (Complete bullshit) He said he wanted to help a friend. He said he trusted me (trusting a stranger, how convenient) and he even pulled out like 6 thousand dollars and made me hold them. He said he wasn't doing it for the profit and just wanted to help out someone. He showed me photos of him and his family (maybe that why I fell for it, I am very compassionate). Long story short I got scammed, he gave me 7 jackets for $500. I am super furious because I do not fall for this type of scams. BTW this happened in a Bank of America parking lot in Sylmar, California I seen reports about this happening in Texas and New York so these guys go around the country. Be on the look out! If it helps I got the license plates of the car he was renting. It is 7LNX508, they are California license plates. He was driving a Mazda hatchback.
