I have a game pass with blockbuster and have had it for years. My son rented an x-box game yesterday, Saturday, Dec. 6. The game is called gears of wars 2. We returned the game today, to be told by nikki that we now have to pay for it. It cost 59.00 dollars because it's a new game. He was the 2nd person to rent the game out. She begins to explain that the x-box has a recall on their systems that puts a ring around the outside of the video games that damages the game. Its called the ring of death. Now I don't have a problem with the policy of if you damage a game you pay for it. I do have a problem with games being rented out, knowing that there is a 90% chance that this will happen. To me this is a scam, more than likely people are going to have to pay for games just because of the recall for the systems. Why would blockbuster rent out systems knowing that this will happen?
