Beware of the Midas' Touch

There was a rattling noise in the Exhaust Line of my 1997 Mercedes Benz E 320. There was no other sign of malfunction in the vehicle at the time I Took it to the Experts at Midas (160 Boylston Street, Brookline, Massachusetts, USA). After inspection by the Experts at Midas, they recommended and installed a brand new Catalytic Converter. The next day the Check Engine Warning came on. I took the vehicle back to the midas shop. After numerous attempts to fix the problem, including installing a second New Converter, they failed to fix the problem and refused to refund the money, blaming the vehicle. I consulted with other Midas franchisees, none could locate a Catalytic Converter for this vehicle on the Company parts locator.
After many unsuccessfull attepms to have them fix the problem or refund the money back to me, I decided to install the old catalytic converter back on the vehicle. To no surprise to me, the Check Engine Light on the vehicle was gone and has not reappeared since. The Midas Catalytic Converter is now in a storage at my house, SO IS THE FIVE YEAR WARRANTY AND THE MIDAS EXPERT TOUCH.
My vehicle is now running fine with the old catalytic converter.
Midas is still doing Vehicles' Repair
Again, beware of the midas' touch - their warranty only lasts the time for you to pay
