My local mortgage bank, Florence Savings Bank, Florence, Massachusetts, has been hitting my mortgage credit report - ON the SAME ISSUE - since 2009. There are to date, 3 DIFFERENT postings with TransUnion. I called TransUnion asking "Do you see something wrong with multiple changes in Florence Savings Bank's postings?"
TransUnion responded by stating they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for ANY information posted on a person's credit report. TransUnion only accepts information, without verification, and posts. AKA, TransUnion is a profiteering DATA MULE. We are suppose to pay monthly fees to TransUnion just to see what information they are posting without verifying that it's true or not. TransUnion is definitely a RIPOFF.
